Begin the experience at Lempuyang Temple, one of Bali’s most revered temples and home to the famous Gates of Heaven. Lempuyang is traditionally regarded as one of Bali’s Sad Kahyangan Jagat, the six major temples believed to protect the spiritual balance of the island. Located on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang, the dramatic gate overlooking Mount Agung creates an unforgettable morning view and a perfect photo opportunity.
Tirta Gangga Water Palace
Continue to Tirta Gangga, a former royal water palace in Karangasem. Built in 1946 by the last King of Karangasem, the palace features beautiful pools, fountains, statues, gardens, and natural spring water. The name Tirta Gangga means “Water from the Ganges,” reflecting the sacred importance of water in Balinese Hindu culture.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Next, discover Kanto Lampo Waterfall, a unique natural attraction surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Unlike a tall single-drop waterfall, the water cascades over a series of natural rock formations, creating a beautiful stepped appearance.
