Coffee Roasting

Bali is not just known for its stunning beaches and rich culture, but also for its exceptional coffee. Nestled in the island's lush, mountainous regions, local coffee plantations offer visitors a sensory journey through traditional Balinese coffee-making.

"Every cup of Balinese coffee tells a story of the soil, the meticulous traditional roasting, and the warmth of its people."

The Famous Kopi Luwak

While Arabica and Robusta beans thrive in Bali's volcanic soil, the island is particularly famous for Kopi Luwak, one of the most expensive and unique coffees in the world. The process involves the Asian palm civet, which eats the ripest coffee cherries. The beans pass through the civet's digestive tract, naturally fermenting, which removes the bitterness and creates an incredibly smooth, earthy flavor.

At the plantation, you can witness the traditional roasting process firsthand. Local women roast the beans in large clay pans over an open firewood flame, a meticulous practice that ensures the perfect aroma and flavor profile.
