Alas Kedaton is a spectacular destination in Bali that offers unforgettable memories. Known for its incredible atmosphere and breathtaking views, it remains a favorite among travelers looking for the true essence of Bali.
"In the heart of Alas Kedaton, ancient trees whisper secrets and playful macaques dance beneath the sacred canopy of Bali's wild soul."
Sacred Monkey Forest & Spiritual Heritage
Alas Kedaton is a mystical sacred forest nestled in the Tabanan regency, home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques that roam freely beneath towering ancient banyan and beringin trees. The forest has been revered for centuries by local villagers as a dwelling place of ancestral spirits and a harmonious meeting point between humanity and the natural world.
At the heart of the forest stands Pura Dalem Alas Kedaton, a small Balinese Hindu temple dedicated to the worship of Sanghyang Widhi Wasa and local guardian deities. Winding stone pathways lead visitors through the dense canopy, past moss-covered statues and natural springs that are believed to possess purifying qualities for spiritual rituals and traditional melukat ceremonies.
