What to Expect
π¦ Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Begin the journey at Kanto Lampo Waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Unlike a traditional high waterfall, its water flows gently over a series of stepped rocks, creating a unique and photogenic landscape.
The surrounding area reflects the natural beauty of Bali's traditional countryside, where rivers and forests have long been an important part of village life.
ποΈ Tenganan Pegringsingan Ancient Village
Continue to Tenganan Pegringsingan, one of Bali's best-known traditional villages and home to the Bali Aga, communities that preserve traditions predating many later cultural influences on the island.
Tenganan is especially famous for its traditional architecture, unique village customs, and Geringsing double-ikat weaving, a rare and highly respected textile tradition. Visitors can experience a glimpse of an older Balinese way of life and learn about the village's strong cultural heritage.
π§ Tirta Gangga Water Palace
Next, visit Tirta Gangga, a magnificent former royal water palace in the highlands of Karangasem.
Built in 1946 by the last King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, the complex was designed as a place of recreation and spiritual significance. Its pools, fountains, statues, and gardens are supplied by natural spring water.
The name Tirta Gangga means "Water from the Ganges," reflecting the importance of sacred water in Balinese Hinduism.
π½οΈ Balinese Lunch
Enjoy a relaxing Balinese lunch while taking a break from the journey. Taste traditional local dishes and experience the flavors of East Bali before continuing to the final destination.
π Lempuyang Temple
End the journey at the sacred Lempuyang Temple, one of Bali's important Hindu temples, located on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang.
The temple is traditionally regarded as one of Bali's Sad Kahyangan Jagat, the six major temples believed to spiritually protect the island. Its famous Gates of Heaven offer spectacular views toward Mount Agung and have become one of Bali's most iconic photographic locations.
