What to Expect
Jimbaran Bay Beach
Arrive at Jimbaran Bay in the late afternoon. This crescent-shaped white sand beach is much calmer than Kuta or Seminyak, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening stroll. Take off your shoes, walk along the shoreline, and watch the local fishing boats gently bobbing in the water as you wait for the golden hour.
Selecting Your Seafood
Before taking your seat, you'll be invited to view the fresh catch of the day. Choose from an incredible array of live lobsters, massive prawns, calamari, crabs, clams, and various local fish like Red Snapper or Mahi-Mahi. Your selection is weighed, and you agree on the price before it is marinated in a special Balinese spice blend and grilled over smoldering coconut husks.
Sunset Dining Experience
Take your seat at a table set directly on the sand. As the sun sets, the sky explodes in vibrant colors, providing a breathtaking natural backdrop. As darkness falls, the beach is illuminated by candlelight. Enjoy your feast accompanied by rice, traditional sambal (chili paste), and water spinach, often serenaded by wandering acoustic musicians.
