Top Attractions in Nusa Penida
Kelingking Beach
Kelingking Beach is arguably the most famous viewpoint in all of Bali and Nusa Penida. The sheer limestone cliff formation remarkably resembles a T-Rex dinosaur resting its head in the ocean.
While the view from the top is breathtaking, the daring can hike down the incredibly steep and precarious bamboo stairs to reach the secluded, pristine white sand beach below. It’s challenging, but absolutely worth the effort.
Broken Beach (Pasih Uug)
Broken Beach is a spectacular geological marvel. It features a massive, picturesque circular cove surrounded by high cliffs, with a natural archway that allows the ocean to flow in and out.
Though you cannot swim down into the cove, walking around the cliff edge provides panoramic views of the swirling turquoise waters below. Keep an eye out for Manta Rays swimming near the surface in the adjacent ocean!
Diamond Beach
Located on the eastern tip of the island, Diamond Beach is named after the diamond-shaped karst rock formations rising sharply out of the shallow, striking blue waters.
A stunningly carved white limestone staircase leads you down to the soft, powdery sand. Flanked by palm trees and towering cliffs, it is frequently cited as one of the most beautiful untouched beaches in the world.
